Welcome to Sand Bay!

Check in time is 2 p.m. Check out time is 10 a.m. We have a short window between guests so please leave the house as tidy and clean as possible. We rarely use keys when checking out, please leave the doors unlocked.

The area these houses are located in is part of a very unique and fragile ecosystem. We respectfully ask our guests to help preserve its natural beauty while enjoying it.

We ask that you stay on the boardwalks as much as possible.

Absolutely no fires either inside or outside.

• Please use your credit card or call collect when making long distance calls.
• A sewer system is not available on the island, we have a septic system.
  Please don’t flush anything foreign down the toilet except toilet paper.
• There is a transfer station for garbage on the island. We will supply your first
  green bag (available at the Four Corners Gas Station and at McDonough’s grocery)
  for your convenience. We will supply information on how to recycle, etc…
• No smoking indoors – and if there is smoking outdoors, please dispose of the
  butts properly.
• There are washer and dryer for your use. Please remove and clean dryer lint
  screen before/after each use.
• There may be times when flies collect on the windows – they can be vacuumed
  up easily. Vacuum cleaners are available in each home.
• Please do not take blankets, spreads or other linens to the beach.
• We do honor special requests, please do not hesitate to ask if there is
  anything you need.
